Skills
Organization
I use a Master File System for organizing my files and projects with the goal of making it so that anyone is able to pick up and start working on my projects without having to ask where anything is.
Editing
Rough cuts, fine cuts, jump cuts, selects, transitions, scene to scene continuity, zooms, pans, trims, slides, crops, titles, etc.! All of the elements of a successful editing job and film in general!
Dailies
Dailies are an important part of figuring out what works and what doesn’t. I have experience in and am confident about making quick and correct dailies with BITC to review footage as soon as possible.
Visual Effects
Whether it be adding moving candle flame overlays to still images, using alpha channel masks or mattes, removing imperfections in shots, or adding clouds to a clear sky, I love creating interesting and fun visual effects.
Versioning and Formatting
When editing promos for Bath & Body Works, they often would need to be various sizes to fit on all required screens and platforms and versioning projects from one aspect ratio to another was one of my main responsibilities. 1920x1080, 1080x1920, 1920x720, and beyond.
Sync and Code
The first step to editing any great film is making sure the audio and video is synced, named, and labelled. Organizing and syncing footage, with or without timecode, is one of my favorite parts of editing.
Color Correction
With a certification in color correction using DaVinci Resolve, I can balance, match, color correct, color grade, create specific color looks for your work, animate color correction, and much more!
Copy Animation
Making still text and images come to life with animation was my main responsibility when working with Bath & Body Works. I am proficient animating in After Effects and love the creativity that comes with it.
Rotoscoping
Whether there’s a green screen or not, I know how to remove the background from photos and videos and replace it with whatever it needs to be either manually or using Roto Brush in After Effects.
Exporting
Different projects need to be exported different ways in order to fit the platform, specific screen, or resolution that they will be presented on and I am ready to export with any settings you can imagine.
